Therry Lawson grew up in Northern Ontario speaking only French except during English lessons at school. She fell in love with country music at an early age and loved to listen to her father’s records of Charlie Pride, Patsy Cline, Bobby Vinton, Kitty Wells. Therry is a soulful singer, solid acoustic rhythm player and is developing her songwriting skills.  She has had the opportunity to sing with Jann Arden and recorded a duet with Roy Payne. Therry’s personality brings a sense of familiarity to the audience and she is always ready to perform with a smile and enthusiasm.

Sue Levesque…the new kid! What an addition to this group. Sue grew up on stage playing in her family band with Mom, Dad and brother and has several years of experience for her young life. Sue is no doubt an accomplished vocalist and bass player. Her disposition is of the girl next door packed with all this talent. Sue grew up in the Okanagan and moved to Calgary a few years back and has played in Alberta with various bands. She loves country music and can rock it out with the best of them. Sue has tremendous positive energy and is so pleasant to watch and listen to.

Derek Littlejohn is one of Canada’s foremost guitar players. In a nutshell…he’s insane. What he can do on that telecaster is mind boggling and Derek is quite humble about it. Before Redneck Sugar, he was touring with the North American fiddle champion(Alex Depeu). He’s opened and played for so many people and some who have influenced his playing. His biggest influences are Vince Gill, Steve Warriner, Jerry Donahue, Albert Lee, Ricky Skaggs, Joe Satriani and also his friend and mentor Steve Piticco (Canada and Europe’s Guitar Player of The Year). He certainly earns his place amongst these monster players. He brings excitement and flair to the music and in addition, he’s not a bad crooner! Derek looks after all of Redneck Sugar’s sound requirements and bookings.
